Enchanted Tea Party Cards

Well I have made some cards from The Enchanted Tea Party range for Nicky P Papercrafts. I didn’t think it would take me very long to do this, but designing cards for others to make takes time and you also have to make sure that the card can be made easily.  Once I started, i had so many ideas of what I wanted to do, and unsure where to start. One at a time slowly, slowly and the ideas flowed and all went well.

This is my First card, a shaker card, with glitter and microbeads as the shaker bits.

This is the Inside of the Enchanted Tea Pot Card.

The second card called The Mad Hatters Hat. The technique is Burnishing Glitter, love this it feels a little like velvet and even looks a bit like it too. The bird in the background is also made using this technique.

This is my third card, called Mad Hatters Tea Party, another shaker card using sequins as the filler.

This is the 4th card,  the layout inspired by my aunts monthly card making kits from Cardmaking.net.  I like this one very much as it’s more about paper piecing and layers.

The detail in the teapot and cups I drew over the top of these with some Faber Castell markers, to add dimension and depth.

I have one more work in progress which I will show what I have made so far, but it’s nowhere near finished.

Hanging keys, with a wonderful medium called texture paste.

This was a great gift to be able to make these cards and have enjoyed making each and every part of them. I hope you like them too.  If you would like to learn how to make these cards, come to my class at Nicky P Papercrafts, on the 10th February, limited places available.
